Fishing and the Peace of the Archipelago
Rustholli 17 is an excellent base for both keen anglers and those looking to enjoy the beauty of nature. Just a short distance from the cottage lies the stunning Archipelago Sea, where perch, pike and zander can be caught from its diverse waters throughout much of the year.
Our guests have access to a rowing boat, making it easy to explore the nearby bays and shoreline at their own pace. Pack a picnic and a sense of adventure, and your day may include a good catch, sightings of white-tailed eagles, or simply the tranquillity of the archipelago. The warmth of the fireplace, a relaxing sauna and the surrounding seaside scenery make returning from the water just as enjoyable as the excursion itself.
For guests arriving with their own boat, Fröby Marina is located approximately 1.4 km from the cottage. The marina offers a boat launch ramp and useful services for boaters, with quick access to some of the Archipelago Sea's well-known fishing grounds.
- It is said that the marina's breakwater is an excellent spot for shore fishing.
If you arrive by boat, you can moor at the small boat harbour located near the cottage, approximately 200 metres away. The cottage's rowing boat is also kept there.
Fishing permits and up-to-date regulations can be easily found through
the Eräluvat service.
